The TAPS Foundation presents the methodological publication "When You Are Waiting for a Soldier from War" for families and friends waiting for a loved one from the front, within the framework of the project "Unbreakable" with the support of the European Union and the International Renaissance Foundation within the framework of the grant component of the EU4USociety project. The material reflects the position of the authors and does not necessarily reflect the position of the International Renaissance Foundation and the European Union.
The internal fears, experiences, feelings, myths and external stereotypes that relatives experience while waiting for their loved ones from the front are difficult to identify and understand. The purpose of the practical recommendations is to provide answers to the questions of what is happening with the physical and psycho-emotional state of the soldier, how to react and what to pay attention to for those who are waiting for and meeting a loved one from the front. These recommendations will be useful for both families and friends of military personnel.
