On December 11, an important meeting dedicated to the development of state veteran policy was held in the TAPS Foundation. Representatives of the civil society organizations Veteran Hub, the Human Rights Center “Princip”, “Legal Hundred” and “Space of Opportunities” presented the concept “How to Build a State for Veterans and Their Families. Regional Support”.

To ensure that the document meets the real needs of people, the team is holding public discussions in various cities of Ukraine. The goal is to hear from those for whom this policy is being created.
In Dnipro, veterans from our region, representatives of local authorities, public organizations and communities joined the discussion.
The TAPS Foundation also took an active part in the discussion, because it is important for us that future support truly meets the needs of veterans and their families.
During the meeting, they talked about the key needs, experiences and daily challenges that veterans face.
All conclusions and recommendations will be submitted to state and local authorities as a basis for the formation of systematic, high-quality and effective support for veterans and their families.
