Alley of Living Memory

"The Alley of Living Memory" is an initiative created to honor the fallen defenders of Ukraine, who gave their lives for our freedom and independence.

Together with the families of fallen soldiers, we are planting trees as living symbols of remembrance. A nameplate with a QR code is placed next to each tree, which links to the story of the hero's life and service. The trees are planted in memory of the soldiers who died in the war in Donbas.

Це не просто меморіальний простір — це жива, тепла й людяна форма збереження пам'яті. Алеї стають місцями тиші, роздумів, спогадів і водночас озеленюють наші міста та села, покращуючи екологічну ситуацію.

Implementation

Together with the families of fallen defenders of Ukraine, we planted six avenues in Dnipro and local communities. The planted trees have become important places for the families and friends of fallen soldiers.

Near one of the alleys in Dnipro (8 Yurii Kondratuk St.) in 2023, artist Oleksandr Britsev created a mural — a symbol of the life and valor of defenders.

A family of a fallen defender can join the initiative and plant a tree in honor of their loved one.
