Nikolaychuk Yuriy Mykolaivych

Yuriy Mykolaivych Nikolaychuk is a soldier of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, a participant in the Russian-Ukrainian war. He was born on June 7, 1980 and lived in the village of Dibrova. He studied at the Dibrov secondary school, finished 9th grade, immediately after school he went to work at the "Peremoga" collective farm.

After the start of the full-scale invasion, he enrolled in the ranks of territorial defense, after which he was called up to the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, where he began his service in Donetsk region in the 79th Airborne Assault Brigade. He was appointed a driver of an armored personnel carrier (APC) in the city of Kurakhove.

Later, he was released due to family circumstances and again called up to the Zakarpattia 128 mining and assault brigade as a driver-mechanic. On October 12, 2023, he was seriously wounded in the Zaporizhzhya region, so he spent some time in a military hospital and died as a result of very serious injuries on October 25, 2023.

He was buried on the territory of Lyubimivska rural territorial community in the village of Dibrova.

The mother, Tetyana Nikolaychuk, and the brother were left without a son, and three children and a wife were left without a father. We all remember what he was like at the age of 43. Yuriy was a true patriot of his Motherland, he made a well-considered decision to go and defend Ukraine. Young, healthy, handsome, he loved life.

The country is losing the color of the nation.
