PROJECT TO SUPPORT WOMEN AND GIRLS WHO HAVE LOST LOVED ONES DUE TO WAR

An initiative of the TAPS charity foundation in cooperation with the International Rescue Committee (IRC) aimed at helping women and teenage girls who are experiencing the loss of loved ones due to war. The goal of the project is to provide emotional support, help overcome grief, strengthen family ties and restore faith in the future.

Project objectives:

Restoring inner harmony and emotional balance after loss.
Strengthening mutual understanding and warm relationships between mothers and daughters.
Acquiring social adaptation skills and returning to active life.
Areas of support:

Individual consultations with psychologists. Professional help to overcome emotional difficulties.
Group meetings and support. Communication with people experiencing similar situations in a safe environment.
Social adaptation classes. Developing skills for confident functioning in society.
Creative master classes. Art therapy as a means of expressing emotions and developing creativity.
Educational seminars. Knowledge and practical advice for building a new life.
Rehabilitation camps. Programs that help restore strength and gain positive experience.

A feature of this project will be the creation of a methodological manual that will collect and systematize the best practices of working with women and teenage girls who are experiencing loss. This manual will become a useful practical source for other organizations that seek to help people in similar situations.

Project geography:

The project is being implemented in the Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhia and Kharkiv regions, where the need for such support is particularly urgent.

Who can participate?

Wives of fallen soldiers, daughters of fallen soldiers aged 14 and over, wives of fallen soldiers and their teenage daughters
If you lived in Dnipropetrovsk, Kharkiv, Zaporizhia regions, but were forced to leave, you can also participate. But the date of departure is no more than 1.5 months ago.

TAPS invites wives of fallen soldiers and teenage daughters of fallen defenders of Ukraine to rest and recover in Transcarpathia! May 05 – 14, 2025 (10 days)

Transcarpathia, Turya-Pasika village, Voyevodyno resort

FREE CAMPING

Participants will receive:

Psychological support;

Active recreation;

Three meals a day and accommodation in comfortable rooms.

Families: Wives of fallen soldiers and their teenage daughters aged 14 and over.
