In her interview, Bonnie Carroll also noted:

"What is happening in Ukraine is war crimes. Putin and the Russian army invaded a sovereign country. The world should have come to the defense of Ukraine, supported the Ukrainian military, the Ukrainian people. I mean, this is an atrocity. This is genocide. The world, America in particular is unable to do enough to help Ukraine defend itself. I mean it's 2023. How can one madman do so much for no reason destruction and pain to a peaceful, sovereign country? Every free and peaceful nation must step forward now to ensure the victory of Ukraine in the future, so that Ukraine will return to the borders defined in its Constitution, and that Crimea, Donetsk and all other regions remain Ukrainian. We will help, as our president says, for as long as it takes. And we hope that victory will come soon."
