This initiative is aimed at supporting the families of fallen soldiers. We understand how important it is not to be left alone with the pain of losing a loved one, so we create a space where family members who have experienced military loss can find understanding, support, and new meanings in life. As part of the project, we organize workshops, excursions, sports competitions, entertainment, and educational events that help improve the emotional state and make them feel the joy of life again. We help families find support and move on after a loss. You can also become a part of this important work.
TAPS Camp is a rehabilitation camp created to support the mental health, psychological relief and recreation of Ukrainian children who have lost their loved ones in the war. Here, children live a small life filled with activities, psychological practices, games, recreation, positive emotions and a lot of impressions. Here they can safely express their emotions, find solace and inspiration to continue living with love in memory of their fallen parents. Without exaggeration, the future society of Ukraine is being formed at TAPS Camp. You can become a partner or patron of our TAPS Camp project and make a significant contribution to the future of our country.
This is a special mission, because today, due to military operations, parents, wives and husbands, and, unfortunately, children, are losing their loved ones who stood up to defend our country. At the moment of loss, a person faces a deep emotional shock, and because of grief, pain, sadness and depression, they often lose the meaning of life. We want to help those who have lost a loved one in the war or are waiting for their loved ones to return from the war. That is why we provide psychological assistance to ease the pain and gradually restore their emotional state This is a very important aspect of our lives, because psychological assistance is a contribution to the mental health of Ukrainians. To keep our initiative going and help even more people, we need your help.
The Alley of Living Memory memorial project is an initiative created to honor the memory of the fallen defenders of Ukraine who gave their lives for our freedom and independence. Together with family members of fallen soldiers, we plant trees to create alleys. Each tree is a living monument to a fallen soldier. They are of great importance because they represent a piece of the soul of each fallen soldier, and they become places where we can remember, feel and understand the price of our freedom. You can also become a part of this initiative and help create "Alleys of Living Memory"
Since February 24, 2022, TAPS has been actively helping the defenders of Ukraine who are defending our land and our people from the Russian occupier. We help the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the National Guard of Ukraine, as well as the Special Forces and the UDA volunteer unit. We continue to collect donations for boats, ATVs, Kevlar protection, backpacks and RPGs. We also help the military with ammunition and food, hygiene products, medicines and first aid kits. We do all this together. You can also join in and help.
Together with LSV Philanthropic Mission, Direct Relief, and Galit, we purchased and converted an ambulance into a dental clinic on wheels. We named the project TAPS Dental. This is a modern minibus with the necessary medical equipment for dental treatment and prosthetics for the military in the combat zone. The project is headed by Artem Pokhyl, a volunteer dentist.
We have created a unique wall calendar that unites 12 families of the fallen defenders of Ukraine. Each page has a family photo and a QR code that leads to a personal story of the loss of a loved one and how to find the strength to move on. These are stories of courage, pain, hope and support. In this way, we want not only to preserve the memory of the heroes, but also to show the resilience of their families. These stories should live on among people, and perhaps help someone in difficult times. Each contribution to this project will be used to provide psychological assistance to family members of the fallen defenders.
