On March 16, the charity foundation "TAPS" gathered little Ukrainian boys and girls, children, brothers and sisters of the fallen Heroes of Ukraine for a real miracle in their space.

The "TAPS" community loves to organize traditional Ukrainian holidays, and this time, the foundation's volunteers came up with the idea to please the children with a fairy-tale atmosphere in the style of the "Mavka" cartoon and treat them to pancakes.

Maslenitsa is traditionally associated with the spring awakening of nature, a time of positive changes and the fulfillment of sincere wishes.

We brought together the children of the community, who, with the help of animators, who impersonated mythical creatures and famous Heroes of Ukrainian epic, Lukash and Mavka, felt like they were in a fairy-tale world with songs, games, and dances.

The legend of Mavka is very accurately reproduced now in the process of creating a new history of Ukraine, as all Ukrainians, from the little ones to the grown-ups, sincerely dream of the victory of the bright Good over the dark Evil.

Traditional pancake treat is an important part of the celebration, as pancakes are a symbol of the sun, which warms and brings nature to life, and brings harmony, happiness, and peace into life.

While the children were celebrating, the mothers were creating motanka dolls, which symbolize protection and safeguard.
