WALK IN NATURE

Svetlana never thought she would be able to walk through the city's central park again without her husband. There they met at a disco at school, there they walked their first Labradors together, and later - their daughter and son. There she saw her grandson for the first time. And there she planted a tree in memory of her husband on the Alley of Memory. A warm spring came, after a hard cold winter, during which the enemy army mercilessly bombed the thermal power plants of her native country. And for the first time since 2014, she finally wanted to just go out into the sun. Without any work or goals. She bought a coffee and a donut, went into the park. Soon she smelled a sweet aroma. It was tulips blooming in the flowerbeds. And a little further away the trees were covered with white blossoms - these were the first cherries. She smiled and remembered how they had walked here together after school.... And her heart felt joyful. "You need to come here more often. And finally get a dog," thought Svetlana.

"Observing nature, you begin to feel the harmonious interaction of all elements and the power of life. It can be a spring, a forest, a mountain, the sea. Connecting with nature will give you a sense of unity with everything in life and help you learn the secret essence of your existence" (Deepak Chopra)

• Many people find being in nature refreshing and energizing.

The eternal beauty of nature is stunningly beautiful. Birdsong or an old tree can help you put off all your affairs. Discover for yourself anew walking barefoot on the grass or sand, breathing fresh air. Mother Earth knows more about recovery than all the stress management experts. And she charges much less for her services.

Go for a walk in nature. Or go hiking. Or go fishing. The further from civilization, the better.

•I was feeling down recently, and I just went for a walk. I saw the beauty of the flowers. The leaves falling from the trees. I saw my dog jumping for joy. I took a deep breath. I felt grateful. After the walk, I felt like I was reborn.

TIP OF THE DAY:

Find hiking trails and paths to places you’ve never been before. Or go to a cemetery. Many of them have plenty of space for walking and solitude. Go for a walk today. Whether it’s spring, winter, fall, or summer, each season has its own advantages.
